A variety of drawings that I created in April and May of 2020.
Some of these drawings a retrospective of rituals of death and some are re an inclusion of poetry with the detailed drawings of skulls.
All of these drawings are made with a dip pen and ink.

Drawings with Poetry
The inclusion of poetry with my drawings can allow me to change the meaning of the work, but also can add to it. For example, a simple drawing of a skull can become a more meaning and powerful image with my insights and emotions - or the voices of the animal skulls.
Below are my first attempts at this idea. These are not necessarily finished works, but they feel relevant in showing my path of thought.

Drawings of Rituals
In response to various rituals that I have researched such as:
+ The sacrificial last breath of the bison.
+A highland funeral.
+Placing bones within an urn.
+ The bells on graves.
