This was one of the first projects that I did at Gray's. I explored both the urban landscape Aberdeen and the neighbouring countryside of Clatt, Aberdeenshire. I focused on cemeteries, and the concept of loved and forgotten. Cemeteries are filled with beautiful flowers left by the living to show that the still remember the dead. However, then the living slowly start to not visit as much or at all - and the flowers show that. The flowers whittle and lose their beautiful colours, shapes and smell, and become something brown and wrinkled - forgotten.
