"The Interaction" is a photography project about the interaction between the living and the deceased - the living humans and the deceased animals.
I gathered people from my university class and asked them to select a skull that called out to them, and then to hold the skull. Then I captured their interactions with a ZENZA Bronica and Kodak Tri-X 120mm black and white film.
These photos capture the beautiful compassion, tenderness, and grace these people showed. Some of the people called the experience meditative.
