Reverence
This is the first zine that I have ever made. I made it with the help of my sister, Gemma Robb. She has had more experience with Adobe InDesign than I have. It is all my artwork and poetry, Gemma just helped me digitise and organise.
It is a follow up from my book that I made last year, a selection of a few of the poems and pairing them with other artworks of mine.

death & the maiden
A book of poetry, drawings, and photography about the connection between the living and dead. A young woman (the maiden) in this motif, symbolises the living because of their youth and fertility. In this zine, skulls are representing death, as it is a classic symbol of death. A key thing that
differentiates the two is the warm softness of flesh versus the hard coldness of bone. There is an intimacy to it they are forever intertwined. In this zine, I am using this motif to show the empathy and compassion I feel towards the deaths of animals. It is about connection.
